Over 35 Years of Dedication to Minnesota
Minnesota Charter Bus Operator’s Association is an organization that is dedicated to the safety of the motorcoach traveling public nationwide. MCBOA’s board of directors and members work with local, state, and federal entities to keep its members up to date on the latest information and legislation proposed or implemented throughout the charter bus industry.
MCBOA was established in 1986 by a group of Minnesota-based motorcoach operators wanting to make their voices heard by officials at both the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Federal Department of Transportation. Formation of this group helped member companies gain legitimacy and ultimately helped shape many of the forthcoming rules governing the charter bus industry at both the state and federal level.
Since its early days, MCBOA has proven to be a leader among regional associations, frequently duplicated by other states. The association has worked closely the American Bus Association and the United Motorcoach Association, keeping our membership at the forefront of the latest regulations, rules and safety related information.
MCBOA boasts some of the most well-run transportation services in the nation. Groups can travel with MCBOA member companies with confidence, knowing they these businesses have dedicated the necessary resources to safety and government oversight and compliance.
MCBOA has grown to become an organization of companies that work hard to ensure that travelers in our state have access to several options of clean, safe vehicles to transport groups of any size. Using a MCBOA member for your transportation needs offers peace of mind to help make your trips enjoyable and successful.
